The building housing Rainbow Sporting Goods has been in this location since the 1800s. Before Rainbow Sporting Goods was established in 1974 the building housed a shoe shop. This building was at one time owned by Marcus Daly, the founder of Anaconda. The original front of the building remained for a good number of years until new windows and siding were installed for weatherizing purposes. This business is small and has limited space, but a good variety of merchandise is in stock for fishing, hunting, camping, and archery. We accept major credit cards.
We carry a large variety of fly tying materials, vises, tools, threads, head cement, beads, and all the chenille, feathers, etc. you will ever need. These items can be used for crafting also.
The unique thing about our business is our flies. We are known as the place with the best flies around. They are Made-In-Montana, so to speak, because they are tied right here in the business by the owner. You can find the most popular flies for the most popular area. Many of the flies used in the surrounding area that we sell cannot be found elsewhere.
