Annual Marysville Picnic

Come and attend the annual Marysville Picnic. This event hosts old-fashioned fun for the entire family. Featuring exhibitors, live entertainment, vendors, arts and crafts, games, contests and a live auction. Admission is free.
There will be an old fashioned Baron of Beef dinner with all the trimmings, plus snack bars serving grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, beer and ice cream.
Visit the Shaffer House museum, where you can walk in and see how people lived at the turn of the last century. Tour the old school house, now serving as the community center, which is loaded with artifacts, photos, and history of the once booming mining town.
Pan for gold right in the park! Enter a contest, we even have a few for the grown ups. Don't miss the live auction, which is always a rousing event.
Grounds open at 10:00. Everyone is welcome to church services at 11:00 in the Lady of Our Lord's Catholic Church. Beef Barbecue Dinner starts at Noon. Entertainment, auction, and games begin after noon.

Driving Directions
The annual Marysville Picnic will be held at the Marysville Community Center, in the heart of Marysville. From Helena, take 1-15 North 8 miles, then exit 200 (Lincoln Road exit) west on Highway 279 for 9.5 miles. Take left onto Marysville Road (look for Great Divide Ski area sign), follow road for 6 miles into Marysville.
