Our 10th annual ride is a challenging and exciting mountain bike ride covering 38 miles (or 76 miles, if you participate in the Spirit of 76) of breathtaking scenery in the Big Belt Mountains. You will gain 3,000 vertical feet from lowest point (Nelson) of the ride, traveling mainly on dirt roads and single track.
Or choose the Lucky 13 Family Ride to Vigilante Campground and back along beautiful Trout Creek. Two aid stations are on hand with water and baked goods. EMTs are available in case of emergencies.
On York 38 Special/Spirit of 76, there are six aid stations with water, fruit and baked goods. EMTs are available in case of emergencies along the route. Bike mechanics are on hand.
Register at the York Fire Hall - staggered riding starts between 7:00 - 9:00 am (an early start is recommended) - Spirit of 76 starts at 6:30 am - Lucky 13 starts between 9:00 - 10:00 am.

Registration fee for the 38 Special and Spirit of 76 includes a t-shirt, bag and a York Burger for the day of the ride.
Lucky 13 registration includes a York Burger for the day of the ride.
The ride is a fundraiser for York Fire Rescue. Thank you for participating.

Driving Directions
Ride location is at York, 20 miles northeast of Helena. Stay on York Road, 20 miles to York Fire Rescue. Make a left at the York Bar. York Fire Rescue is 100 yards up Nelson Road.
