Sacajawea Memorial Picnic Area is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest at an elevation of 7,400 feet. The picnic area is for day use only. Vaulted toilets are available at the site. Native flowers in abundance in the spring and fall. Walking trail with signage about Lewis and Clark.

No garbage service and no cell phone coverage. This area cannot accomodate RVs/trailers.

Driving Directions

From Dillon travel 19 miles south on I-15. Take Highway 324 west for 12 miles to Grant, continue on Highway 324 for 10 miles, then turn west on Forest Road 3909 for 12 miles.
