Staggering Ox

Open seven days a week, Staggering Ox provides a style of food unavailable anywhere else. Our famous Clubfoot bun design is federally registered trademark. Featuring Clubfoot sandwiches such as the 'Three Mile Island', the 'Mt. St. Helens' and the 'Beastie'. Food Network Magazine recently chose the 'Nuke' as Montana's "must try" sandwiches! The Ox has also been featured in MAXIM, Esquire, Family Circle, Sunset, and Roker on the Road. Clubfoot sandwiches are available in nearly 20 varieties with thousands of sauce and bread combinations. Other menu items include: Hot Sandwiches such as the 'Headbangers Hoagie', Baked Potatoes, Soups, and Salads. We also have a number of gluten-free items, including Pizzas and Desserts. Additionaly, we cary a wide variety of Sodas, Specialty Drinks, Beer and Wine, available to complement the menu.

Found at the back end of the restaurant, there's the Red Atlas, Montana's finest beverage house. Serving a variety of coffees, as well as breakfast, the Red Atlas has quickly become a favorite place to meet with friends. There is also an extensive list of Montana-Made microbrews available, as well as wine. On occasion there's even live music that can be enjoyed!

We have been in the same location for over 20 years and don't plan to be moving any time soon. If you're looking for something to 'write home about', this is the place. People actually do that! They blog about us, too! We've also made the AP wire and been interviewed by Fox TV. Not only do we serve great sandwiches, but we have one of the largest art galleries in the state. We offer blues and country bands on Wednesday nights (in the winter), and an eclectic mix of live music on Friday nights all year long. Stop by the Ox for a memorable dining experience!
