Description

This is Helena's premier mountain bike trail with many options. Most riders will park at the McKelvey trailhead just up Grizzly gulch and make a loop out of this ride. Optionally you can park at the trailhead at the end of the ridge up grizzly gulch and run a shuttle. Either way, you are in for a real treat as miles of single track and great views await every rider.

Directions

From downtown Helena, go south on South Park and then right up Grizzly Gulch Dr. The McKelvey trailhead will be on your right just after starting up Grizzly Gulch. From the McKelvey trailhead, ride up Grizzly Gulch about 4.5 miles to the trailhead.
