Whitehall Theatrics Presents: BROTHERS GRIMM SPECTACULATHON at the Star Theatre
The Brothers Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, were German scholars, linguists, and folklorists best known for their collection of fairy tales. Born in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, they are famous for compiling and publishing Grimm's Fairy Tales, a collection of traditional European folktales. Some of the most famous stories from their collection include Cinderella, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel, and Little Red Riding Hood.
The Grimms were also important figures in the study of the German language and were involved in creating a comprehensive dictionary of the German language. Their fairy tales, initially published in 1812, were aimed at preserving German folklore and culture. Over time, their stories have been adapted into various forms of media and remain deeply influential in both literature and popular culture.
