Of Horse, Human & Nature presented by the Montana Center for Horsemanship with the University of Montana Western, in partnership with EQUUS INTERNATIONAL Film Festival and Horse, Human and nature-William Kriegel Foundation is an international conference to bring universal attention to the unique horse-human relationship.

Featuring keynotes that include Temple Grandin, renowned animal behavior scientist and spokesperson for autism, consultant and advisor to the livestock and ranching industry and expert on equine assisted learning; Dr. Barbara Baker, national barrel racing champion, veterinarian and President & CEO of the Pittsburgh Zoo and International Conservation Center, the only conservation leader in the world, that is using horses and natural horsemanship to manage exotic wildlife. Keynotes from young people who, despite their physical or psychological challenges, have proven, "yes I can," through a relationship with horses.

Dynamic panels, natural horsemanship horse & rider demonstrations, workshops, field trips, award-winning horse films from around the world with filmmakers, equine icon awards, this public event promises to be a memorable experience in one of the most beautiful parts of the American west - historic, thriving Dillon, Montana.

We welcome participation, film entries, sponsorships and partnerships that help to support our initiatives to expand education and research to advance equine and human well-being. Please Join Us!

Horses have been partners to humanity for milennia but this conference will put the focus on the many ways that horses are helping people to heal and lead better lives.
