Restored Miners Home

This charming miner's house-of-the-past is completely remodeled, inside and out. It is cozy for a couple or a great way for a family or group of 8-10 to gather, share meals and enjoy the area. The main house has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6; additionally, the couch in the living room makes into a queen bed. The detached studio guest house features a queen bed, kitchenette and bath. They can be rented individually or together.

The quaint community of Philipsburg boasts the country's largest candy store, an amazing outdoor skate rink, a new brew pub and is great fun to explore. 'Winnie's Cottage' is an easy 5-minute walk to the heart of downtown Philipsburg, with it's local summer theater and mining town character.

The Philipsburg Valley touts 300 days of sunshine; family and advanced skiing is 20 minutes away at Discovery Ski Area, overlooking lovely Georgetown Lake.

Blue ribbon fly fishing on Rock Creek, Flint Creek and local lakes satisfies the most ardent fisherman. For summer or winter recreation the stunningly beautiful area offers endless possibilities. Just an hour east of Missoula and west of Butte, it's a great location from which to explore Montana's Gold Country.
