The Tannahill Weavers

Get ready for an evening of traditional Scottish music with The Tannahill Weavers, one of Scotland's most celebrated Celtic bands.

Born from a pub session in Paisley, Scotland in 1968, The Tannahill Weavers have spent nearly six decades bringing Scottish music to audiences around the world. Their sound brings together the beauty of traditional melodies with the energy of modern rhythms, moving effortlessly from reflective ballads and original songs to lively reels, jigs, and stories from Scottish life.

Over the years, the band has become known for their tight harmonies, inventive arrangements, and unmistakable Celtic spirit. Their music has earned them an international following well beyond the traditional folk and Celtic music scenes, including an induction into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2011.

Now approaching their 58th anniversary, The Tannahill Weavers continue to bring their music to stages around the world with the same enthusiasm that has kept audiences coming back for generations.

Come settle in for an evening of Scottish songs, stories, foot-stomping tunes, and a little bit of that Celtic spirit at The Covellite.
