Benchmark Campground

Listing Overview:

Benchmark Campground is located on Wood Canyon Ford in the Sawtooth Range of the Rocky Mountain Front Range in a variety of conifers and aspen, which provide all sites with shade. There are 25 campsites to choose from. The campground is pack it in, pack it out and composed of three spurs, two of which have feeding troughs for horses at most of the sites.

All sites have spacious parking aprons for RVs or tow vehicles with horse trailers. Maximum trailer length is 35 feet. The drive into the campground is long but scenic. It is located near the Scapegoat Wilderness.

The campground is located in bear country; practice safe food storage techniques. The elevation at Benchmark Campground is 5,300 feet. Please limit stay to 14 days and there is a camping fee. Handicap accessible, water is available and pets are allowed on a leash.
