Cottonwood Campground is located on the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana. At an elevation of 6,200 feet, this campground contains 10 designated campsites. This campground is a basic Forest Service Campground with restroom facilities provided. No drinking water is provided. No garbage service is provided, so pack out what you pack in. Opportunities exist for fishing nearby and trail for hikers and stock users. This campground and nearby overflow areas are popular camping destinations during the summer and hunting season. The maximum recommended trailer length for the campground is 28 feet. Stay limit is 16 days, and there is no daily fee is required for use. Food and refuse storage requirements are in effect and enforced at this campground.
