At McDonough Outfitters we hunt elk, deer and bear along with antelope and mountain lion. We are located on the edge of the Scapegoat Wilderness and both Lewis and Clark National Forest and the Helena National Forest in the beautiful state of Montana. Just east of the Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front we hunt fair chase and spot and stalk. We use horses for transportation and hauling game and do a lot of hunting on foot.

McDonough Outfitters is a family run operation that was established in 1953. We are a second generation outfit that is a ranch based business offering top quality memorable experiences that rival any service provider. Our philosophy is to provide our guests with unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime and bring them back for more. We emphasize having a good time and do our best to give you and outstanding visit to our little portion of the Big Sky Country of Montana.

The McDonough Fishing Lodge is open for business in Wolf Creek, MT. You can stay in one of the six rooms now available or rent the entire house with full kitchen and laundry facilities. The game room features a full pool table with great views of the surrounding mountains.
