Montana Spirit Guest Lodge

Montana Spirit Guest Lodge is on the edge of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness area just down from Quake Lake on the world famous Madison River. Step out the front door with a quick walk down to the Madison to catch the early evening hatch. We are just 26 miles from West Yellowstone, the western gate to Yellowstone National Park and 40 miles south of Ennis. Henry Lake is a few miles down the road and Henry Fork is ten miles further.

Nature surrounds us as we share the area with elk, antelopes, mule deer, bighorn sheep, grizzlies, coyotes, wolves, black bears, and eagles. It is not unusual to see any of these animals during your stay. Often we have seen mountain sheep graze on the hillside across the river, met a wolf on the trail up to Sheep Lake, or to gaze on eagles flying up the river while we eat supper.
