With an ongoing pandemic and aggressive fire season, our first responders, rescue teams and medical personnel are spread thin. While planning your trip, reduce your risk of injury by planning activities that are low-risk and within your skill level.
While you are recreating in Southwest Montana don’t hesitate to ask park ranges and public land managers about potential safety concerns. These concerns may include wildlife (especially bear) activity, rock and mudslides, rough roads, snow conditions, etc.
