Another of Southwest Montana's premier trails, this classic out and back singletrack ride will not disappoint you. Set on the edge of the beautiful Boulder valley this one is a favorite of everyone if the area. From the well marked trailhead you climb about six miles to the sign that points to Tizer Lakes. At this point most people turn around and head back down for the great descent. The top of this trail is around 8000 ft so don't plan on being able to ride it until mid summer, snow pack depending.

This trail is located just northwest of Boulder, MT. Starting at the I15 exit to Boulder, head into Boulder and take the 1st left which is the I15 Frontage Road. Travel north to Sloans Lane and turn right. Travel west to Upper Valley/Muskrat Road and turn left. When the road forks, stay on the right fork. Several roads will branch off to the right, uncluding Rawhide Gulch. Stay on Muskrat Road and it will end at the trailhead.
