JazzReach: An Evening With Metta Quintet

METTA QUINTET, the official resident ensemble of JazzReach, brings together some of today’s most dynamic and innovative jazz musicians. Known for adventurous performances, the quintet blends bold original compositions with fresh interpretations of rare jazz gems, featured on acclaimed albums including Going to Meet the Man, Subway Songs and Big Drum, Small World.

As the resident ensemble of nationally recognized JazzReach, METTA QUINTET has helped introduce nearly one million students across more than 200 communities to the power and creativity of jazz through concerts, workshops and educational residencies.

Founded in 1994, JazzReach continues to celebrate America’s jazz heritage while making the music accessible and inspiring to audiences of all ages. METTA QUINTET carries that mission forward with performances that are innovative, engaging and deeply rooted in the spirit of jazz.
