The Dolly Show at the Mother Lode Theatre

If you can’t see Dolly Parton herself, Kelly O’Brien is the next best thing. Widely recognized as one of the world’s most authentic and accomplished Dolly Parton tribute artists, Kelly delivers an uncanny combination of Dolly’s unmistakable look, sound, personality, and Southern charm.

Her talent has earned recognition from the Parton family, who have personally seen her performance and praised her show. Kelly has also been trusted by Dolly Parton Enterprises, who selected her as Dolly’s official body double for film. She was the only UK finalist in #SearchForDolly, the worldwide casting search for Dolly’s Broadway musical.

Kelly is more than a tribute artist - she’s an illusionist. With a pitch-perfect Tennessee accent, soaring soprano vocals, and the warmth and sparkle that made Dolly a global icon, Kelly captures not only the look, but the heart and spirit of the Queen of Country. Audiences leave her shows uplifted, entertained, and amazed by just how convincing the transformation can be.

An award-winning performer with more than two decades of stage experience, Kelly began her career in South Australia, where she won national competitions and appeared on New Faces and Popstars. Her breakthrough came when she starred in Germany’s Starlight Express, launching an international career spanning television, musical theatre, and live performance.

Today, Kelly tours the world with The Dolly Show - a dazzling, full-scale theatrical concert backed by a live band and featuring Dolly’s greatest hits from the 1960s to today. Expect favorites including “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” “Islands in the Stream,” and “I Will Always Love You,” along with powerhouse vocals, laugh-out-loud comedy, rhinestone glamour, and plenty of Dolly-style warmth.

Featured on BBC One, ITV’s This Morning, The Last Leg, Lorraine, Channel 5, Sky, and in The Times, Daily Mail, and Time Out, Kelly’s uncanny likeness, vocal mastery, and sparkling showmanship have earned fans around the world.

From her unmistakable curves to the last crystal on her gown, from the soft Southern lilt to the powerhouse vocals - Kelly O’Brien is Dolly.
