This Fourth of July, head to the historic town of Butte for the Freedom Festival. This fireworks display is claimed to be the most spectacular fireworks display in all of Montana! The celebration continues on July 4th at 10am for the parade! The parade route runs from the Butte Civic Center down Harrison Avenue. Make sure to get there early to claim your viewing spot! You'll also find music and food throughout Butte during the Freedom Festival.
Nicknamed "The Richest Hill on Earth," and "Butte America," Butte has deep roots in the mining history and at one point was the nation's biggest supplier of copper. Today, Butte is home of the nation's largest National Historic Landmark District. Brick buildings and mining structures, called headframes, make up Uptown Butte's skyline and serve as a reminder of the town's rich history. Beyond historical ties, Butte is surrounded by ample outdoor recreational opportunities, fine dining and shopping, and many other memorable events throughout the year. Make your way to Butte for a unique and memorable experience!
