Helena's Alive at Five - Madeline Hawthorne

Born in New England, based in Bozeman Montana, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Madeline Hawthorne pens the kind of tunes you listen to on a cross-country trek to start anew or in the dead of night when you just need a reminder that somebody’s listening.

Alive at Five is Helena’s signature summer concert series, bringing thousands of residents and visitors together in the heart of downtown each Wednesday evening. Featuring live music, local food vendors, refreshing beverages, and community spirit, the event transforms the Walking Mall into a vibrant gathering place. Showcasing talented regional and touring artists, Alive at Five offers something for every music lover while supporting local nonprofits and businesses. More than just a concert, it’s a weekly celebration of Helena’s culture, community, and summer energy - making it one of the city’s most anticipated seasonal traditions.
