Helmville Rodeo

Rodeo is the lifeblood of summer in Southwest Montana. Around every corner, and in every charming community you’ll find a rodeo. Helmville is one of those charming small towns that doesn’t get enough attention given it’s beautiful scenery and proximity to some of Montana’s natural wonders.

The Helmville Labor Day Rodeo is known to many as the ‘biggest little rodeo in Montana’ with two nights of rodeo. Sunday features the top six bareback riders in the NRA and Monday features the top six saddle bronc riders in the NRA. To make the event that much sweeter, enjoy an evening of dancing at the Helmville Community Hall on Sunday night from 9pm to 2am. You won’t find a more authentic hoedown in the area!
