Get cozy with Redd and The Paper Flowers, a Knoxville, Tennessee band that calls their sound “Living Room Folk.” Blending Appalachian folk, jazz, and bluegrass-inspired sounds, the group brings a warm, joyful energy to the stage that feels a little like gathering around with friends and listening to music in your living room.

The band began in Knoxville in 2021, when Redd Daugherty and Gavin Gregg connected through the local music scene. Katie Adams and Colleen d'Alelio soon joined, and the four musicians built a close-knit musical family rooted in friendship, community, and a shared love of making music together.

Their debut album, Appalachian Bell Jar, was released in May 2025. Now based in Redd's hometown of Knoxville, the band is working on their sophomore album, Dead Little Thing, which is set for release in fall 2026.

After years of change, loss, and growth, Redd and The Paper Flowers have found their way back to what matters most: each other, their music, and the people they get to share it with.

Big Bad Frank will also be joining the lineup for the night.

Come hang out, get comfortable, and experience some good old-fashioned Living Room Folk at The Covellite.
