Aspen Decker is an enrolled member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (T̓ata̓yáqn, Ql̓isp̓é, and Ksanka) and a speaker of her tribal language, Nsélišcn (Salish language).
During this special event, Aspen will present and unveil an original painting created for the museum’s Indigenous Peoples exhibit. Guests will have the opportunity to hear about her work, culture, and artistic inspiration.
We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Indigenous art, language, and culture. This is a free event and open to the public, donations are accepted.
