The Dead & Down are an adventurous roots-rock band, drawing inspiration from both the rugged landscapes of their Montana home and the diverse musical influences that shape their sound.

At the heart of the band is frontman Taylor Burlage, whose introspective songwriting and weathered vocals lead the charge through a sonic landscape that blends alt-country, gritty rock ‘n’ roll, and occasional forays into psychedelia and genre-defying experimentation. With a track record of opening for acts like Paul Cauthen, Futurebirds, and the Last Revel, they’ve graced stages at festivals such as Under the Big Sky Music Festival and Red Ants Pants Music Festival.
