Lincoln Parade and Rodeo

Each year our rodeo starts off with a spectacular parade down Highway 200. This year will be no different. The parade will take place on Saturday, July 6th starting at 11am from 1st Avenue and end at Hooper Park. After the parade take the family out to the rodeo (both July 6th and 7th) starting at 1pm.

For more than 60 years, the Lincoln Open Rodeo has been the keystone summer event in Lincoln, MT. The annual rodeo falls on the weekend closest to Independence Day. As one of the few open rodeos left in the state, it provides an opportunity for young cowboys to build their credentials and for more experienced riders to pick up a few extra rides during the "Cowboy Christmas" season that centers around the Fourth of July.

For kids, the Rodeo offers a greased pig chase, a boot race, and a chicken chase. Stout hearted adults can test their resolve and their agility by entering the Ring of Fire to see who can last longest in the ring against a loose bull.
