State Capital Band Concert in the Park -July 10th

The State Capitol Band will present their 123rd season of concerts in the park with their third concert of the season.

This free concert will begin tonight at 8:00pm-9:00pm in the Memorial Park Band Shell under the direction of Robert Loveridge. This band is one of the longest continually performing bands in the country and features a group of the finest local musicians.

Mr. Loveridge will lead the band through a wide variety of music throughout the concert season which will include marches, classical wind ensemble pieces, Broadway and movie themes, and ballads and more. The audience will then choose their favorite pieces which will be performed during the final concert.

Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs will help make the concerts an enjoyable way to spend a summer evening with family and friends.

Future concert dates: July 17th, 24th and 31st.
