Capital City 4th of July Celebration

Our community celebration in the park will feature live music, bounce houses for children, complimentary hot dogs and root beer floats, and a variety of family-friendly activities. Guests can enjoy performances by the Magpie Drummers, explore emergency response vehicles during special tours, and take part in a spirited patriotic program emceed by former Mayor Jim Smith. The event will provide a festive opportunity for families to come together before continuing their Fourth of July celebrations throughout the day.

With the added excitement of commemorating our nation's 250th anniversary, we anticipate welcoming approximately 2,000 community members to this year's event, making it one of our largest and most memorable celebrations yet.
