At The Bighorn, we hear it all the time: “Do you have any red blends?” “Yes - most of our red wines are red blends.

The term "red blends" gets tossed around so loosely, but very few people actually know what it means.

Join us for a Bighorn-style deep dive - equal parts fun, friendly, and educational - where we uncover what “red blend” really means. We will explore one of the most famous red blend styles of the world: a Bordeaux blend.

We will sip though the six red grape varietals allowed in a red blend and learn about each. After deciding your favorites, you can create your own red blend by mixing together the various varietals we've sampled through. Once you've created your own blend, you get to taste it side by side with various finished Bordeaux blends from different parts of the world we will open up, share and talk about.

If you’ve ever loved a wine without knowing why, or ordered a “red blend” because it just felt safe—this class is going to level up your knowledge and your palate.

Our typical wine class is $50. This class is $65 as we will be sampling through and opening more bottles to allow for more blending and experimentation!
