Youth Open Mic hosted by Peyton Waters

Tell the young people in your life that final Tuesdays this year are a youth-focus Open Mic at the Covellite, hosted by comedian-extraordinaire Open Mic alum Peyton Waters, in association with Ziply Fiber!

Peyton Waters is a multifaceted performer from Butte, America. A freshman at Montana Technological University, she has distinguished herself as a comedian, violinist, and award-winning speech and debate competitor. Peyton's passion for stand-up started early at venues like the Silver Dollar Saloon, and reignited in 2023 through open mic nights at the Covellite Theatre. This lead to Peyton opening for comedians Mo Mandel, Lucas Seely, and Bobby Lee, as well as beloved Butte troubadour Roy Ivy. “All of the volunteering and service is worth it,” she says, “as long as I get to joke and tell stories about this journey later. Peyton, Ziply Fiber, and Covellite Presents hope with this series to cultivate a space where young people are comfortable performing and attending to support each other. All ages welcome to attend - stage time priority given all night to any performers under 20ish! Please be respectful of this youth-first space, and consider enjoying one of our many fun NA drink options, and as always, please smoke away from the doors.

The Covellite is pleased to offer Various Snacks for sale, as well as beer, wine, canned cocktails, NA beverages including Kombucha/Coffee/CBD seltzers.
