Ales for Trails, Helena
Friday, 5/15/2026
Join us for the 15th Annual Helena Ales for Trails Craft Beer Festival, a beloved community tradition dedicated to supporting Helena’s trail system.
Ales for Trails brings together local businesses, city and county government, nonprofit partners, and passionate community members with one shared goal: raising funds for the trails that make Helena special. In 2025 alone, the event raised $56,000 for local trails. Over the past 14 years, Ales for Trails has generated more than $279,700, all reinvested directly into trail and recreation projects throughout the Helena area.
Beneficiaries have included the Bureau of Land Management’s Scratchgravel Hills Recreation Plan, Friends of the Centennial Trail, Prickly Pear Land Trust’s Peaks to Creek Project, Helena Parks and Recreation, Helena Trail Rider, the Deford Trail Corridor, the Whyte Addition to Mount Helena City Park, and several major accessibility and infrastructure improvements—including restroom upgrades and parking realignments.
Led by a consortium of community leaders and supported by partnerships with local organizations and businesses, Helena Ales for Trails is powered by community spirit. More than 150 volunteers help make the event possible each year.
