The musical journey from ‘Rococo to Romance’ opens our 76th season opens. Cellist, Karen Becker, performs the spectacular piece Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations.
We move from the ornamental and elegant period to the emotions and dramatic expression of the romance period with Salieri’s Falstaff Overture, Faure’s Elegie and Schubert’s Symphony no. 8, the famous ‘unfinished’ symphony, which we will complete with the Entracte 3 & 1 from Rosemunde.
