Montana History Fest

The Montana Historical Society is celebrating the grand opening of the Montana Heritage Center with several days of events across Helena in partnership with the Helena community. Free tours of the new facility run daily, with guided Capitol tours, Original Governor's Mansion tours, and the Last Chance Tour Train available throughout the week. Helena's self-guided Historic Julian Anderson Cocktail Trail runs concurrently across downtown. Programming spans Indigenous culture, Montana art history, live music, and the Kickoff to America's 250th, a free Saturday evening celebration on the Capitol Lawn featuring live performances and a flyover. Some events require registration.
